I loved this cartoon as a kid; the 60s brought a lot of anime to the U.S. (I liked Speed Racer too.)
Of course, this probably makes me look like an old coot, but, eh, I don't care.

Gads, I used to watch that when I was little. :D It was on Channel 44, in a block with Kimba, Astro Boy and Speed Racer. I had afternoon session kindergarten, and I'd leave for school right after they were over.

Wow, I loved Kimba *and* Speed Racer, but for some strange reason I only have a vague recollection of Astro Boy. Don't know why that is.
